Providing support and stability to our community through acts of LOVE
Our Impact
It all started with an idea. An idea that Duke and Dr. Rhiannon Seward brought to life to make a difference in the local communities in which we live and work—Carpentersville, Dundee and Elgin, IL.
This idea has helped raise over $30K to help restaurant workers during the pandemic and provide academic scholarships to several students in the local area. It has inspired us to host an annual Christmas community dinner called ‘Food is Love’ which feeds over 500 individuals every year as well as organize ‘Back to School’ events, providing hundreds of young students with backpacks and school supplies.
In addition, Taste the Love NFP uses their resources to help support other local organizations such as Food for Greater Elgin, PADS, and the Lions Club.
…and we LOVE what we do
Duke’s Blues Festival
Presented by Taste the Love NFP
Over the past five years, Duke’s Blues Festival has become tremendously successful in raising awareness for Taste the Love NFP. Thanks to generous contributions from sponsors, volunteers, vendors and the local community, this event features Southern food vendors, beer tents, live Blues music, a car show, and more.
Proceeds from Duke’s Blues Festival allows Taste the Love NFP to continue spreading the LOVE! So please, come out and show your support. You do not want to miss this party!
